Synergy Computer Solutions Offers Its Clients Innovative Way to Reduce Core I.T. Costs

Radical pricing structure saved clients $2.8 million in 2010 alone!

February 28, 2011 (Bingham Farms, MI) --- Synergy Computer Solutions, a global I.T. consulting and staffing firm headquartered in Detroit, has developed a service delivery approach that radically reduces CORE I.T. costs for its clients. The structure saved Synergy’s clients over $2.8 million in 2010, and is projected to save clients in excess of $20 million over the next three years.

The delivery structure is based on leveraging a small on-site team and a larger pool of off-site resources. With this approach, clients can realize a cost per hour reduction at a rate of up to 50%, as illustrated below.

By moving more of the routine development, maintenance, and support services to off-site resources, the average cost per hour is significantly reduced.

Synergy currently works with several clients that are realizing substantial savings, year over year. One client, for example, is forecasting 50,000 hours of services to support core IT areas in 2011. With the program Synergy has in place, 25,000 hours will be provided by off-site resources performing application development, maintenance and support as it did in 2010. At an average rate of $70 per hour, that annual budget to perform all services on site would be $3.5 million. However, since 25,000 of those 50,000 hours are being performed off-site, the average hourly rate is cut to $52.50 per hour, giving the client a CORE I.T. cost savings of $875,000!
